LET IT SHINE
In a series of two concerts, the Harvard Glee Club will join forces with the Wellesley College Choir to present a dazzling array of choral music, featuring works from Monteverdi and Mendelssohn to contemporary pieces by Whitacre, Gjeilo, and Tormis. The two ensembles will combine to perform cherished mixed voice selections from Bruckner, Hogan, and Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vigil.
The first of two performances—held in Wellesley College’s Houghton Chapel—will begin at 7:30pm on Saturday, April 5th. The second performance will begin at 8:00PM on Friday, April 11th, at St. Paul’s Church in Harvard Square. Both concerts are free and open to the public.
