Hand in Hand: Concert for Equity and Justice in Arts Education

The Harvard, Princeton and Yale Glee Clubs are thrilled to present Hand in Hand, A Benefit Concert for Equity and Justice in Arts Education. In solidarity with Black Lives Matter, we are striving to make our music work for justice.

Sharing stories: Moving across time and space, from the “Sorrow Songs” of enslaved people to the poetry of the Harlem Renaissance.

Elevating modern artists: Including Sydney Guillaume of Portland and Reena Esmail of South Hadley. Witness incredible works from student composers, including Harvard’s own Natti Robinson ’20. 

Supporting nonprofits like Castle of Our Skins, bringing Black artistry to Boston schools.

Grand finale: A new arrangement of the Isley Brothers R&B classic Caravan of Love, introduced by Dr. Cornel West.
