A beloved tradition returns as the Harvard Glee Club welcomes the Princeton Glee Club to Sanders Theatre for their annual joint concert, part of Harvard College’s Family Weekend festivities. This collaboration, dating back over a century, celebrates the enduring bonds of choral music and collegiate camaraderie.

The evening will feature spirited renditions of school songs and fight songs alongside a rich and diverse program of works spanning cultures, eras, and traditions. Under the direction of Michael McCormick, the Princeton Glee Club—Princeton’s oldest and largest choir—is known for its excellent performances of virtuosic choral works spanning centuries of repertoire, from Renaissance motets to newly commissioned music.

The Harvard Glee Club, conducted by Dr. Andrew Clark, is the oldest collegiate choir in the United States. Since its founding in 1858, the ensemble has championed the art of tenor-bass choral singing through performances that balance beloved traditions with bold new directions, including commissions, premieres, and collaborations across Harvard and beyond.

With both ensembles steeped in history yet constantly evolving, this joint concert promises a vibrant celebration of music, fellowship, and tradition—an event not to be missed.
