"What I saw that evening were young men in the act of expressing themselves through an art-form, energized to the fullness of their powers. You were all alive and vibrant to the roots of your beings. The air tingled. Everything in you that is most gracious and beautiful, from religious worship to the laughter of high animal spirits, was set flowing. It flowed through you into the audience and sent us home happy and invigorated."

Hometown: Munich, Germany

I'm studying Physics and I'm here as a Special Student for the academic year 2008/09.

I originally come from Germany where I first sang in the choirs at the Stiftsbasilika Aschaffenburg (a catholic church). Until I moved away for university, I had spent nearly 14 years with the Boy's Chorus and the Chamber Choir.

In 2005  I went to Munich for studying Physics at the TU Munich. After finishing my Preliminary Degree (Vordiplom), I joined the Munich University Choir in 2007.

With a Max-Weber Scholarship by the State of Bavaria I came to Harvard in 2008, where I auditioned for the Glee Club.

In Physics my interests are in the Astro-Particle Area - although I don't yet do any research.

I really enjoy the "Glee and Good Humour" in the HGC and I'm looking foreward to our concerts.
